Process Painting Intensive
Process painting intensives are usually offered twice a year - in the spring and the fall. To be notified when the next intensive is scheduled, please sign up for our mailing list.
A painting intensive is a chance to really experience what happens when you allow yourself to paint, play and discover. There will be two painting session each day with an opportunity for group sharing in the evenings.
The longer format will give us time to do than just paint. There will be opportunities for warm-up activities, journalling and group discussion. There is also more time for paintings to unfold - to move beyond the first impulse into something more complex, more interesting, and more surprising. There is also more time to practice the underlying skills of process painting and allow your creativity and intuition to blossom.

I'm an MFT Trainee or Intern. Does this count towards my hours?
While a painting workshop doesn't look at all like traditional therapy, for MFT interns and trainees the BBS considers this fourteen hours of personal therapy which could translate to 42 hours toward licensure for people using Option 2 (pre-2106) system for counting hours. Otherwise it is up to your supervisor whether they will sign off on it as workshop and training hours.
